Phil Harker, MS, CPA, CVA, CHFP, FHFMA
Phil Harker founded Sentient Partners in 2001 and continues to serve as the Managing Director and CEO. His 30 years of experience also includes the Boston office of KPMG – Peat Marwick, Fidelity Investments, University of Miami Medical Center, ZA Consulting LLC, and many more of the United States’ leading organizations. He has extensive technical knowledge in the valuation of closely held businesses, federal and state health care reimbursement regulations, and regulations related to Title IV financing of post- secondary education.

Mr. Harker has been a court appointed receiver trustee, provided financial advisory services to lenders, debtors, creditors’ committees, venture capitalists, private equity firms, trustees and other equity holders in merger, acquisition, and out-of-court restructurings. He has provided litigation support services and he has provided expert witness testimony on many occasions on forensic and bankruptcy matters.
Mr. Harker attended Florida International University and the University of Kentucky and holds a Master of Science in Accounting focused in Taxation and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Mr. Harker is a certified public accountant (CPA) – licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). He is also a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) and a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (“FHFMA”).
